I don't see my videos published on Xvideos, why?

Newly uploaded videos must first be encoded before they are viewable on Xvideos. Newly uploaded videos appear on your profile around 1 hour after their encoding is completed and after 3 days in categories and search results.
You can see all your uploaded videos under ''My Content'' tab in your account area.

Why would I want to upload my content to you?

Tube sites attract an enormous amount of users. If your stuff is good, it will sell. And if it doesn't, at least you will become more popular. If you are not on the tubes, surfers will forget about you. Our channel system and content program offer many advantages. Xvideos is completely free. However we have to use ads to cover the monthly multi-million dollar cost of bandwidth and servers. Without ads there would be no free porn.

There is so much free porn on internet, no need to pay for it!?

Everything here relies on the existence of porn content as well as new content being shot. If no one buys anything, only vintage content will be available and ultimately free sites themselves will disappear too.
If you are a broke student, no one expects you to pay for porn. But if you can afford it, please do. The same is true for every industry. Be responsible.

Videos you like are located under the third tab named "Videos I like" located on the front page of Xvideos.

How can I access my subscriptions?

You can see all profiles you are subscribed to under ''My subscriptions'' on Social tab of your account.
Latest videos from your favourite models and recently uploaded videos from channels you are subscribed to can be easily accessed from second tab ''My subscriptions'' on homepage.
If you want to see recent activity of your friends and channels you are subscribed to (uploaded videos, new photos and favourites), you can find it under ''Activities'' on Social tab of your account.

How can I save a video to my favourites?

Visit any video page. You will find a button below the video that says: Add to your favorites.

My favourites are gone!?

We receive emails like this regularly, and every time it is because a user with two or more accounts logged into the wrong account.
Deleted videos are also automatically removed from favourite lists.

Where are gay and shemale videos?

Here are shortcuts to the new and improved GAY and SHEMALE indexes. Please note that you must use the search from these pages (or related subpages) to see gay and shemale content in the results, or use the search filters directly.

Can you email me videos or updates?

Upon creation of an account and if your registration is confirmed, we may send you emails to inform you about specific events (such as new friend requests, likes of your videos, etc). If you wish to follow Xvideos' updates closely you can subscribe to our feed.

I saw a video that doesn't work!

Unfortunately, given the large quantity of videos on our site, there may be some instances where certain videos TEMPORARILY do not work. Typically the problem will be a "This video will be available soon" message, or the video will load only a small portion of its length. Once again, these problems are only temporary. If you were able to access a certain video page, that means it is still in the database and will be fixed. If you notice a video that doesn't work for a longer period of time, you can let us know about the issue (see below).

How to report underage/rape/bestiality/scat/other inappropriate videos?

We are monitoring the site, but if you think we have missed something, you can report it. There is a report button under each video.

How can I remove Xvideos from my computer?

Visiting this site does not install anything on your computer. Therefore there is nothing to remove, other than your browsing history and your cached / temporary internet files, which you can clear in your browser's options.

How to upload videos?

To upload to xvideos, you need an account with validated email.
You can upload your video from ''My Content'' tab in the account area.
Video can be uploaded either from your computer, or from a direct URL to the video (link should end in .mp4 etc).
You have to fill out all fields and check that you agree with Terms of service and the Privacy policy terms. Which you should also read.

My upload fails at 99%, what can I do?

If your upload fails near the end (generally at 99%), go to the 'my videos' page, there at the top you should see a link to re-submit this video to our system without having to upload it again.

My video had an encoding error, what should I do?

We will attempt to encode your video again several times automatically. After that, if you still see this error message, please convert your video(s) to a more conventional format and upload them again.

How to edit title of the video?

You can see all your uploaded videos under ''My Content'' tab in your account area.
Here you can edit video to change its title, description, tags and translations.

How can I make money with my content?

To qualify for content program you have to have exclusive content of decent qualify.
We do not consider close ups/bad lighting/shaky camera as good quality.
Once you have uploaded at least 3 videos longer than 5 minutes, verify your identity from account tab in your account area.
After you are verified, you can apply for a channel from your Dashboard.

We do not pay for video uploads.

How can I delete one or more of my uploaded videos?

You can delete your video from ''My Content'' tab in your account area.
It takes some time to go through and for your profile to update.
Keep in mind that deleted videos can not be recovered and we do not allow re-uploading of content.

Which video format is best to use for uploading?

Try to avoid exotic codecs or very recent ones. Go with standards like MP4 (H264, AAC). A high resolution and high bitrate is always better. Contrary to common beliefs, flv format is absolutely not ideal for us and is not recommended.

How to delete my account?

You can close your account under Account tab in your account area.
Everything is deleted with the account and nothing can be recovered.
